- One-Line Electrical Diagram Q&A Amendment 0001. Revises the SOW; provides Site Visit details; provides a Q&A. Sign and return one copy with your offer. The USACE in Sacramento has a firm-fixed-priced requirement for a backup generator and installation at Pine Flat Dam, Fresno County, California. ***A site-visit is planned for Friday, 20 Janurary 2017 at 1000 PST. For further site visit details, contact the site visit POC listed in the attached solicitation.*** Materials and equipment necessary for the purchase of a new operational backup generator in the Pine Flat Dam tower, Fresno County, CA. The new generator will be a minimum 150kW rated generator unit with diesel engine wired for 277/480 VAC three phase, 60 Hz, U.S. EPA Tier III compliant. Two sets of Operator's Manuals and Part's Manuals. Automatic Transfer Switch rated 400 Amp, 3 Pole, 277/480 VAC three phase, 60 Hz, with 2-Wire Start Circuit capable of operating existing 480VAC- three phase components. Removal, Installation, and Test: Furnish labor, necessary for the installation of a new operational backup generator and automatic transfer switch in the Pine Flat Dam tower, Fresno County, CA. The new generator will be placed within the footprint of the current generator and connected to the existing fuel system, exhaust and ductwork. Work includes the labor necessary to remove the existing 150kW generator from the generator room and install a new generator through the existing window (83" x 80") of the generator room located in the dam tower building. Due to the location of equipment, the Government anticipates that the removal and installation will require the contractor to use a crane, crane operator(s), and the removal and reinstallation of the 83" x 80" window. Once installed the new backup generator will also be tested and adjusted for proper operation. Contractor must be authorized by the manufacturer to install equipment, without voiding the manufacturer's warranties. Once the existing generator is removed from the tower, the Pine Flat Staff will accept and retain the Government's property. File and complete the New Air Permit Application for Fresno County. Extended warranty on parts and labor. 5 year warranty extended warranty on parts and labor. The period of performance is anticipated to be no more than 180 days.
