The Government proposes to acquire, on a Firm-fixed Price contract, a quantity of 1 each of a TURRET, SENSOR-SIGHT; NSN: 1270-01-528-4004; Part Number: 79717010-009 applicable to the CD Apache (AH-64) weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 1 each, 540 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to LINDEN, NJ 07036-6230. This item is restricted to: LOCKHEED MARTIN CORPORATION, CAGE CODE: 04939. The data needed to acquire this part competitively is not physically available, it cannot be obtained economically, nor is it possible to draft adequate specifications or any other adequate, economical description of the material for a competitive solicitation. This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source (s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that recognize and can produce the required item described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Firms are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency.
