- Amended SF-1449 and Letter to Quote to have matching closing times. Corrected closing date to January 3, 2017 at 10:00am (mountain time) Enclosed is a combined synopsis/solicitation package prepared in accordance with the Federal Acquisition Circular FAC 2009-92 by the Federal Bureau of Prisons, Federal Correctional Institution Englewood (FCI), Littleton, Colorado Contracting Officer for the procurement of LED lights for our facility. This acquisition is a 100% Small Business Set Aside. The estimated number of LED light fixtures is 45. This acquisition is for EXACT MATCH ONLY. Any substituted fixture MUST exactly match the detailed specifications found in the cut/spec sheet attachment to this solicitation.The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 335122. All other qualifications and requirements will be detailed in the solicitation. All offeror(s) are advised that this solicitation includes the Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions - Commercial Items. With the inclusion of this clause and the submission of a quote, the offeror acknowledges the requirement that a prospective awardee shall be registered in the SAM database prior to award, during performance and through final payment of any contract resulting from this solicitation. If the Offeror does not become registered in the SAM database in the time prescribed by the Contracting Officer, the Contracting Officer will proceed to award to the next otherwise successful registered Offeror. Offerors may obtain information on registration and annual confirmation requirements via the SAM database accessed through www.sam.gov. No award will be made to any contractor listed under the Excluded Parties List System. Offerors should note that "Faith-Based and Community-Based Organizations (AUG 2005) Faith-based and Community-based organizations can submit offers/bids/quotations equally with other organizations for contracts for which they are eligible" is included. Awards will be made based on lowest price technically acceptable and overall best value to the Government. This solicitation is distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities website at www.fedbizopps.gov. Hard copies of the solicitation will not be available. The website provides all downloading instructions to obtain a copy of the solicitation. All future information concerning the acquisition, including solicitation amendments, will be distributed solely through the website.
