- THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. THIS IS A SYNOPSIS OF A PROPOSED CONTRACT ACTION. The Army Contracting Command - Rock Island intends to award a sole source contract modification to Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) in accordance with (IAW) Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirements. This notice is intended for potential subcontracting opportunities and informational purposes only. The proposed action is for a Firm Fixed Price, sole source contract modification under the Department of the Army (DA) G-4 for the Depot Maintenance Operations Planning System (DMOPS) Contract W52P1J-15-C-0074 performed by BAH. This action will add software maintenance services to DMOPS Contract W52P1J-15-C-0074. The following information is being provided IAW FAR 5.207: (1) Action Code. Special Notice of Sole Source Modification under W52P1J-15-C-0074 (2) Synopsis Issue Date. 27 DEC (3) Year. 2016 (4) Contracting Office Zip Code. 61299 (5) Product or Service Code. (6) Contracting Office Address. 3055 Rodman Avenue, CCRC-GB, Rock Island, IL 61299-8000 (7) Subject. DMOPS Sole Source Modification (8) Proposed Solicitation Number. NA (9) Closing Response Date. 17 JAN 2017 (10) Contact Point or Contracting Officer. Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH) (16) Description. Sole Source Modification will add 6 positions for a total period of performance of up to 38 months. Contractor will identify coding errors within the software, perform troubleshooting, modify the software, perform data input, and make programming changes. Only BAH has the ability to complete these programming changes as they developed the DMOPS software. As the current provider of services, BAH currently possesses the requisite clearances, skills and in depth knowledge of the requirements to successfully support the Army G-4 mission.
