- Draft Statement of Work THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR QUOTES - THIS IS A REQUEST FOR INFORMATION AND INFORMATION SUBMITTED WILL BE USED FOR MARKET RESEARCH PURPOSES ONLY The Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences (USU) is the Nation's federal health sciences university and is committed to excellence in military medicine and public health during peace and war. We provide the Nation with health professionals dedicated to career service in the Department of Defense and the United States Public Health Service and with scientists who serve the common good. We serve the uniformed services and the Nation as an outstanding academic health sciences center with a worldwide perspective for education, research, service, and consultation; we are unique in relating these activities to military medicine, disaster medicine, and military medical readiness. USU is located in Bethesda, MD on the grounds of the Naval Support Activity Bethesda. Additional information regarding USU can be found on our website: www.usuhs.mil. USU has a requirement for flexible, quick reaction support to USU IM/IT infrastructure and operations which includes direct support to the following OCIO departments and activities: Customer Support which includes the tier 1 Help Desk and Multidisciplinary Labs (MDL); Network Operations & Communications (NOC); Application & Web Development (AWD); Academic Technology and Research Computing (ATD and RCD) support. The support would come in the form of contracted services of full and part-time employees. These not only include Program Management and Sustainment personnel, but also Network and Telecommunications Infrastructure Support personnel. The Contractor shall provide services related to delivering solutions for turnkey communications systems. This may include, but not be limited to program and technical assistance planning networks, designing infrastructure, and supporting these network infrastructures. This includes all types of voice, data, and video networks, including converged networks of all three information domains. A smaller scale IM/IT service support services for USUHS is currently provided under order HT9404-12-F-0153 from The Informatics Application Group Inc., in the amount of $10,099,333.74 with a performance period end date of 9/23/2017 end date. See attached DRAFT statement of work (SOW). Potential offerors responding to this RFI are highly encouraged to review the attached DRAFT SOW and provide comments and feedback. The attached document is a Word document and we request offerors use the comments feature to provide their feedback. THERE IS NO SOLICITATION AT THIS TIME. This request for capability information does not constitute a request for quotes; submission of any information in response to this market survey is purely voluntary; the government assumes no financial responsibility for any costs incurred. The result of this market research will contribute to determining the method of procurement. Potential offerors responding to this RFI must provide the following information: •Feedback on the SOW (Use Comments Capability in Word): oWhich sections require clarification? oWhat questions do you have based on the current SOW? oWhat additional information needs to be addressed in the SOW? •Corporate Experience - Provide a summary on your corporate experience in providing the requested services, with a focus on providing IM/IT infrastructure and operations support services. (Page limitation: 3 pages) •Past Performance - Provide two (2) customer references that you provided similar services for within the last three (3) years, with a minimum of one year of performance. (Page limitation: 5 pages). At a minimum, include the following information: oBusiness/Agency Name oPOC - Name, title, telephone number and email address oContract Number oContract Amount oPerformance Period oDescription of Services Provided and how they are Comparable to the Requested Services in the Attached DRAFT SOW. •Contract Type - USU is considering a 5 year multiple award IDIQ and accepting offeror feedback. Please provide the following with your submission: 1.Company name and address 2.DUNS Number 3.Socio-Economic Status (Small, SDVOSB, etc.) - Socio-economic status will be verified in SAM.gov. 4.Point of Contact (Name, Email and Phone Number) All responses are due 11 AM EST 1/4/17 and must be emailed to stephen.enokida@usuhs.edu.
