- This is a Pre-Solicitation Notice: The USDA, Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service (APHIS), intends to acquire construction services for our facility at Veterinary Services Miami Animal Import Center (MAIC) 6300 NW 36th Street, Miami, FL (On Perimeter Road), Miami FL. This requirement is to procure contractor services to replace the existing floor topping with a seamless equine flooring system. The Contractor shall provide all necessary services to accomplish the Construction Services identified in the Statement of Work. The Government will provide Program of Requirement (abridged) document prepared by Clark Nexsen, A&E firm, of the proposed construction. The contractor shall furnish all plant, labor, equipment, and materials necessary to accomplish the work referenced in the statement of work. The solicitation, AG-32KW-S-17-0020, will be released at www.fedbizopps.gov on or about January 6, 2017 and proposals will be due thirty (30) days after the release of the solicitation. One may download a copy of the solicitation at www.fedbizopps.gov. NOTIFICATIONS WILL NOT BE SENT TO CONTRACTORS REGARDING THE ISSUANCE OF THE SOLICITATION NOR ANY OF ITS AMENDMENTS. IT IS THE CONTRACTOR'S RESPONSIBILITY TO CHECK THIS WEB SITE PERIODICALLY FOR AMENDMENTS. It is anticipated that one award will be made. This Request for Proposal is being issued as a total small business set aside which is to be awarded as a firm fixed price construction contract. The estimated price range is between $250,000 and $500,000. The solicitation, #AG-32KW-S-17-0020, is to be affixed to all documents submitted in reference to this requirement. The NAICS code is 236220, the small business size standard is 36.5 million dollars A pre-bid site visit date and schedule will be posted in the Solicitation. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
