- Description
- The electrical feeder cables to Lock and Dam 7 were damaged, but have been temporarily repaired with splices. This contract is to replace the existing "Dam Feeder No. 1" and "Dam Feeder No. 2" parallel cables, from Manhole No. 8 at the base of Pier House 1 at the River Wall, to the Dam Feeder fused disconnect switches, located on the upper level of Pierhouse 1. Distance is estimated at 55 feet. The Minnesota/Wisconsin border runs through the middle of the lock. Dam will be accessed from the staging area on the Houston County, MN side of the border. Pierhouse 1 is located on the La Crosse County, WI side of the dam. The magnitude of this contract is estimated to be less than $25,000.
