- Cost Estimate Attachment CMB Request for Information REQUEST FOR INFORMATION The National Institute of Environmental Health Science, Research Triangle Park, NC hereby issues this Request for Information (RFI) to survey the market for potential sources capable of executing the Comparative Medicine Branch's (CMB) animal based biomedical research management software systems requirements. This is a Request for Information (RFI) only as defined in FAR 15.201(e). The purpose of the RFI is to gain knowledge of the interest, capabilities, and qualifications from the industry that can be used to satisfy this requirement for information and planning purposes only; it is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government. It does not constitute a solicitation or promise to issue a Request for Proposals or Quotations in the future. Responses to this notice shall not be construed as offers and cannot be accepted by the Government to form a binding contract. The U.S. Government will not pay for any information or administrative cost incurred in response to this RFI. Any costs associated with responding to this RFI will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this RFI will not preclude participation to any future RFP if issued. The information provided may be used by NIEHS in developing its acquisition strategy and statement of work/statement of objectives and performance specifications. Interested parties are responsible for adequately identifying proprietary or competition sensitive information contained in their response. See RFI Attachments for futher details.
