Description

For request for solicitation, provide your name, the company name and Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number. PRON: AX6F6520AX. The Government proposes to acquire, on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 30 each up to 250 each maximum with a 10 EA minimum order quantity of a ACTUATOR, MECHANICAL, AIRCRAFT; NSN: 1680-01-630-8638; Part Number: 70410-02650-048 applicable to the BE UH-60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time with Contractor First Article Testing is 30 each, 405 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA. 17070-5002. First Article Test Report due 258 Days After Contract Award (DACA). Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 30 each, 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to NEW CUMBERLAND, PA. 17070-5002. This item is restricted to Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CAGE CODE: 78286 This item will be acquired for the first time directly from the actual manufacturer listed on the source approval document. This part has been identified by the responsible Systems Engineer as a Critical Safety Item (CSI). Per AMCOM Regulation 702-7 and AMCOM Policy Memorandum 70-5, all CSI's must be procured from approved sources. As stated in the Policy Memorandum, "Manufacture and overhaul of CSI must be controlled to maximize aviation flight safety and ensure readiness." All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that possess the ability and can either supply the product from the sources listed on the source control document or manufacture the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors interested in manufacturing this item are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
