Description

1. The purpose of this amendment is to; Correct the title of the solicitation to represent the product which is being procured under this solicitation which is for Standard Manual Wheelchairs. To provide a corrected Attachment C to the solicitation document. To add Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) clause 52.212-4 Contract Terms and Conditions Commercial Items by reference to the solicitation document 2. Provide answers to questions that have been submitted in response to this solicitation as follows; a. Could you please confirm that all of the items requested on the attached Solicitation VA119-17-Q-0017 require TAA compliance? Yes, the items proposed under this solicitation must meet the mandates of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Clause 52.225-4 Trade Agreements. The clause has been added to this solicitation document under FAR Clause 52.212-5 Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes or Executive Orders Commercial Items. b. Please confirm that the requirement is not a set-aside. The requirement has been solicited as Full and Open. c. Will there be separate  Solicitations issued for the blood pressure cuffs and the walkers The solicitation title was not correct and has been corrected. This requirement is only for the solicitation of Standard Manual Wheelchairs for home use. Solicitations were issued for the blood pressure cuffs and walkers under the Federal Supply Schedule Vehicle. Does the VA require that the contractor have these items on FSS? Contractors do not have to have a Federal Supply Schedule (FSS) contract to respond to this solicitation. A revised copy of the solicitation has been uploaded with the changes as stated above. The addition of these changes does not necessitate the need to extend the proposal due date, which is set for January 6, 2017.
