Description

Orthopedic Plates, Screws & Biological Supplies Special Notice to Award, Sole Source for Orthopedic Implants & Biological Supplies. Pursuant to FAR Subpart 13.106-1(b) (1), the U.S. Army, MEDCOM, Regional Health Contracting Office-Pacific, Joint Base Lewis-McChord, Health Contracting Cell, Lacey WA, intends to issue a sole source award under solicitation W81K02-17-T-0092 to Arthrex, Inc in the amount of $130,000.00, for Orthopedic Implants, Biological Supplies to be used in (12) urgent surgical procedures for specific patient's as determined by the Surgeons and the Surgical Team of the Department of Anesthesia and Operative Services (DOAS) at Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC), Tacoma WA. The Surgeons have determined that these products must be FDA Approved. This notice is not a request for proposal and a solicitation will not be issued. Any vendor that believes it can provide the stated services within the above parameters as indicated can submit supporting documentation demonstrating their service capability and specifications. Responses received will be used for future acquisitions. Information can be sent to the Purchasing Agent; Mr. Walter J. Bischoff, email; walter.j.bischoff.civ@mail.mil. No telephone or facsimile requests will be accepted. This procurement will be prepared in accordance with FAR Part 13, using Simplified Acquisition Procedures.
