Description
THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No Solicitation is currently available. The purpose of this synopsis is to gain market research on potential Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) concerns. The VA Sierra Nevada Health Care System anticipates issuing an Invitation for Bid (IFB) to award a construction contract for Project 654-16-621, Building 7 Renovation. Scope of the project comprises approximately 8,400 sf of interior renovation and 7,425 sf of exterior renovation to Building 7, located at the VA Medical Center, 975 Kirman Avenue, Reno, Nevada, 89502. The following is a breakdown of the interior/exterior renovation and new construction: Exterior: Approx 7425 sf of demolition: concrete sidewalks/curb, landscaping and irrigation. New construction: approximately 675 sf of handicap accessible ramp. Approximately 5,425 sf of paved asphalt over base. Site work new includes re-route of irrigation system, landscaping, concrete patio area/curb, drainage and other architectural. Approx 8,756 sf of demolition to the roof, single ply membrane, cap flashings, and abandoned mechanical equipment. New Construction: Install new roofing system with all proper penetrations for new mechanical. Interior: Demolition: asbestos removal, HVAC, DDC controls, hot and chill water, domestic water, electrical, telcom systems, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, public address system, and architectural. Construction: relocation of teldata room, construction and upkeep of temporary access routes, HVAC system, DDC controls, hot and chill water, domestic water, fire sprinkler system, fire alarm system, electrical, telcom, windows, new walls, finishes, painting and other related architectural work for a fully functional facility. The magnitude of this project is between $ 2,000,000 and $5,000,000. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction, with the Small Business Size Standard of $36.5M. Responses to this sources sought notice shall not exceed five typewritten pages and must send, by e-mail only, the following information: 1) Company name and address, point of contact with phone number, and DUNS number; 2) The firm must be registered in System for Award Management (SAM) with the SDVOSB socio-economic status and above listed NAICS code (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/); 3) Proof of registration as a SDVOSB in the VA VetBiz website and verification by VA Center for Veterans Enterprise (CVE) (registration may be accomplished at https://www.vip.vetbiz.gov/); 4) Company s Bonding Capacity (Note: this response must include a letter from your bonding company confirming this amount); 5) Examples of similar projects in scope and size to the above mentioned project (Normally, no more than three references of similar work your firm has performed); Responses may be submitted as attachments or contained in the body of an e-mail, and must clearly marked SOURCES SOUGHT RESPONSE BUILDING 7 RENOVATION in the subject line and document header.
