- Renovate Building 10 @ Waco TX Synopsis This is a Pre-solicitation Synopsis Notice for a Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) set-aside Design-Bid-Build (DBB) solicitation for Renovate Building 10 at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Waco, Texas. Offerors must be SDVODB firms. The Contract Specialist point of contact for this anticipated solicitation will be Natasha Kennedy at Natasha.p.kennedy@usace.army.mil. FOR INFORMATION ONLY: This Synopsis is ONLY A NOTIFICATION that a solicitation is anticipated and forthcoming. All questions regarding this SYNOPSIS must be submitted in writing via email to the Contract Specialist as noted above. 1. CONTRACT INFORMATION: The Fort Worth District intends to award a DBB Firm-Fixed-Price (FFP) contract SDVOSB firm with a construction magnitude of between $5 million and $10 million. The estimated period of performance for this contract is 365-days. The Government reserves the right to award a contract for a lesser duration than stated herein if it is determined in the best interest of the Government. 2. PROJECT INFORMATION: Construction services required Renovate Building 10 at the Central Texas Veterans Health Care System in Waco, Texas. 3. EVALUATION INFORMATION: The SDVOSB solicitation will be evaluated under a one phase Low Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA) process. The following evaluation (rating) criteria listed below shall be used in this solicitation unless modified by amendment prior to receipt of proposals: Experience Technical Approach Past Performance Price. 4. SUBMISSION INFORMATION: Estimated solicitation issue date is on or about 1/20/20117 under solicitation number W9126G-17-R-0046. Proposals are anticipated to be due on or about 2/21/2017. (Approximately 30 days from issuance of the solicitation.) The Government will conduct a site visit for this solicitation. Date, time, and location of the site visit will be provided in the RFP. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this project is 236220 (Commercial and Institutional Building Construction), which corresponds to SIC 1542. The Small Business Size Standard is $36.5 Million. The Government intends to award without discussions but reserves the right to do so if deemed necessary. There will be no public bid opening. Plans and Specifications will not be provided in a hard paper copy since electronic copy of the solicitation with specifications and drawings will be posted on Fed Biz Opps (www.fbo.gov). Prospective contractors must be registered in SAM prior to award. Lack of registration in the SAM database will make offeror ineligible for award.
