- Description
- This is a notification that the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) intends to award a sole source, cost-plus-fixed-fee contract under statutory authority 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) as implemented by FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy the Agency Requirements. This contract will be awarded to Torch Technologies, Inc., 4035 Chris Drive SW STE C, Huntsville, AL 35802, to provide uninterrupted support and continuity within the MDA Chief Information Officer (CIO) community. This effort is currently being performed under contract number HQ0147-11-D-0008 which expires on 7 March 2017. The associated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541712 with a size standard of 1,000 employees. The resultant contract for these advisory and assistance services will be for a base period of two months with one three-month option period. This notice is not a request for proposals. This action will result in a "bridge" contract which is necessary to allow for continuity of critical contractor services until a competitive contract is awarded under the Technical Engineering, Advisory, and Management Support (TEAMS) acquisition strategy. Any information received as a result of this notice will be considered solely for enhancing competition in a future competitive procurement. The Government will not pay for information submitted. All responses must be received no later than January 7, 2016, 2:00 pm, central time and should be submitted to Mr. Kenneth Arnold, Contracting Officer, via email Kenneth.arnold@mda.mil.
