- Amendment 0004 The work consists of constructing new floodwall to include: reinforced concrete walls, driving steel sheet piling, driving steel pipe piling, compacted embankment fill, clearing and grubbing, grouted riprap, structural excavation and backfill, painting, turf establishment, culverts, demolition, temporary flood protection, utility modifications, water distribution system, electrical, exterior lighting, silt fencing, barbed wire fencing, farm gates, granular stone access roads, side roads, drainage pipe, ditches, catch basins, and other incidental work. The estimated value of the proposed work is $10,000,000.00 to $25,000,000.00. Plans and specifications will be available on the Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) Web Page at http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Bidders may register on the Interested Vendor's List (IVL) at http://www.fbo.gov/ and retrieve an IVL from the same location. Compact disc and hardcopies will not be available. Bidders are encouraged to check often for changes (AMENDMENTS) to posted solicitations. Issue date will be on or about 09 November 2016. Bid Opening date on or about 5 January 2017, 1400 hours. This procurement is a Total Small Business Set-Aside and will be issued under FSC Code Y1PZ for a firm fixed price contract. Right of Way is currently not available. Bid opening will not be held until Right of Way is available.
