Description

For request for solicitation, provide your name, the company name and Cage Code and a telephone/facsimile number. PRON: AX6F6681AX. The Government proposes to acquire, on a five-year Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract, a minimum quantity of 183 each up to 600 each maximum of an PUMP, ROTARY; NSN: 4320-01-271-8461; Part Number: 70351-38800-101 applicable to the BE UH-60 Blackhawk weapon system. Production Lead Time without First Article Testing is 183 each, 270 Days After Contract Award (DACA) with deliveries to CORPUS CHRISTI, TX, 78419-5255. This item is restricted to: Sikorsky Aircraft Corporation, CAGE CODE: 78286 Crane Co., CAGE CODE: 51663 The Aviation and Missile Research, Development Engineering Center (AMRDEC) Breakout Engineers have assigned the Acquisition Method Reason Code (AMRC) "1B". This part must be acquired from a manufacturing source(s) specified on a source control or selected item drawing as defined by the current version of DoD-STD-100. Suitable technical data, Government data rights, or manufacturing knowledge are not available to permit acquisition from other sources, nor qualification testing of another part, nor use of a second source part in the intended application. As a result, this acquisition is currently being procured under Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1(a)(1) having only a limited number of responsible sources. All offerors must meet prequalification requirements in order to be eligible for award. Firms that possess the ability and can either supply the product from the sources listed on the source control document or manufacture the required item(s) described above are encouraged to identify themselves. Contractors interested in manufacturing this item are encouraged to seek source approval in order to compete for future solicitations by accessing the website: http://amcomdmz.redstone.army.mil/casl_cmo/casldba.casl_cmo_samsar and looking under Standardized Aviation and Missile Source Approval Request (SAMSAR). All responsible sources may submit an offer, which shall be considered by the Agency. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of release for solicitation; however, the solicitation will not close prior to the date stated above. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies.
