Description
NO PHONE CALLS PLEASE. ALL QUESTIONS MUST BE IN WRITING AND EITHER MAILED, FAXED, OR EMAILED TO THE CONTRACTING SPECIALIST. CONTACT INFORMATION BELOW. This is a market survey for the Long Beach ASR-9 Tower Raise Project (LGB ASR-9 Tower Raise). The responses to this market survey will be used for informational purposes only. This is not a screening information request or request for proposal of any kind. The FAA is not seeking or accepting unsolicited proposals. The FAA will not pay for any information received or costs incurred in preparing the response to the market survey. Therefore, any cost associated with the market survey submission is solely at the interested vendor ™s expense. The FAA currently intends to solicit and negotiate only with Swager Communications, Inc., 501 Swager Dr, Fremont, IN on a single source basis. The purpose of this market survey is to solicit statements of interest and capabilities from all businesses that are interested in and capable of performing this tower raise project. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) codes and size standards for this effort: NAICS: 541990 SIZE STANDARD: $15M The contractor will deliver and install three, off the shelf, Swager Tower Base Sections, 10 feet tall compatible with the existing Swager tower sections. Install temporary foundation for existing Swager fabricated tower. Relocate existing Swager 37 foot tower and existing ASR-9 radar to temporary foundation. Install modified foundation for new Swager fabricated 67 foot tower assembly. Replace counterpoise grounding. Install/extend new grounding down-conductors. Engineering Services. Interested firms are required to submit the attached Business Declaration form and a copy of their SBA 8(a) certification letter, if applicable. In order to make the determination, the FAA requires the following from interested vendors: 1. Capability Statement “ This document should identify: - Type of services provided by your firm; - Size and type of projects with Swager tower components provided by previous contracts (elaborate and provide detailed information and past performance); - Number of years in business. 2. Clearly state whether or not you can provide all of the types of services/items required and if you can supply them to the location listed in this announcement. 3. Expected programmatic approach (in-house, teaming, subcontracting, etc.) “ Respondents must provide their strategy for accomplishing this work, including the percentage of work that will be done by eligible small, service-disabled veteran-owned and 8(a) certified businesses. All responses to this market survey must be received by 4:00 p.m. CST, 28 December 2016.
