Description
NIIN Requirements A solicitation that will result in a long term contract for a period of one base year and four one-year options is intended to be issued on January 5, 2017. The solicitation will contain multiple NIINs. Current source for this NSN is Eaton Corporation, CAGE 86090. FOB Destination required. DSCR does not currently have an approved technical data package available for these NIINs. Items are not Critical Safety Items and no surge requirements exist. Attachment will give an overview of some of the technical requirements. Solicited unrestricted on an Other than Full and Open competitive basis. Pricing will be evaluated on the Estimated Annual Demand (EAD) as cited in the attachment. Minimum delivery order will be a quantity of 5 each. Surplus dealers are also invited to respond to this synopsis. The response should include a completed surplus certificate, DLAD 52.211-9000, Government Surplus Material or adequate traceability documentation to show that the product is acceptable. (Note: Other Aviation sites will provide their equivalent surplus clause, as applicable). Responses to this announcement from other than the OEM should identify items of interest and include evidence of ability to supply the items for the contract period as identified. In addition, respondents should identify the quantity available and price. A copy of the letter of interest should be forwarded to the contracting officer identified herein and SBA PCR (michael.massello@sba.gov). The Government may alter the acquisition strategy if purchase of existing surplus or newly-manufactured inventory is in the best interest of the Government. The final contract award decision may be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors as described in the solicitation. Solicitation issue date is November 1, 2016. A copy of the solicitation will be available via the DIBBS Website https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/ on the issue date cited in the RFP. From the DIBBS Homepage, select "Requests for Proposal ( RFP ) / Invitation For Bid (IFB)" from the menu under the tab "Solicitations." Then search for and choose the RFP you wish to download.
