Description

Please note this is NOT a request for quotes or proposals. The Government is seeking information strictly for market research purposes only. The Government may or may not issue a solicitation document. The Richard L. Roudebush VA Medical Center (RLRVAMC) in Indianapolis, Indiana is conducting a market survey for qualified firms capable of providing linear accelerator commissioning services. Applicable NAICS Code 541690 applies with a business size standard of $15.0 million and prospective quoters must be registered in the Systems for Award Management System (SAM). Responses to this sources sought notice must be submitted, in writing (electronic is preferred), and received no later than 4pm, Friday, December 30, 2016. No telephone inquiries will be accepted or returned. A brief description of work to be performed includes commissioning for its new TrueBeam linear accelerator following installation. This commissioning is required in order to begin using the equipment. Commissioning of the linear accelerator equipment shall include: a radiation survey, data collection for iPlan for MLC SRS, model validation, commissioning report and end-to-end model validation for Eclipse. The purpose of this sources sought notice is to gain knowledge of potential qualified sources and their size classification relative to NAICS Code 541690 (business size of $15.0 million per annum). Responses to this sources sought notice will be used by the Government to make appropriate acquisition decisions. Responses shall include: company name, service capability statement, examples of similar facilities to which same or similar services were provided, DUNS number, including address, point of contact, and the size of the business. A solicitation is NOT currently available. If a solicitation is issued, it will be announced on the Federal Business Opportunities website at http://www.fbo.gov at a later date, and all interested parties must respond to the solicitation announcement separately from the responses to this announcement.
