Description
DRAFT SOO DRAFT RFP DRAFT QASP The National Oceanic Atmospheric Administration (NOAA), National Environmental Satellites, Data, And Information Service (NESDIS), Office of Satellite Ground Services (OSGS) is seeking information to assess the current state of industry capabilities in providing a Radio Frequency Monitoring System (RFIMS). This system will have to monitor and detect undesirable radio frequency interference from Long Term Evolution (LTE) wireless carrier services at NOAA ground locations where the 1695 Mhz - 1710 MHz band is shared by the U.S. Government and wireless carriers. This Request for Information (RFI) (attached) is issued to conduct market research and determine the availability and technical capability of all interested sources in fulfilling this requirement. This RFI allows potential contractors to submit a non-binding statement of interest, description of relevant capabilities and suggestions that will allow the Government to refine its potential course of action. The RFI is intended to assess industry capabilities and solicit feedback for acquisition planning purposes. The RFI also intends to solicit feedback from industry regarding the proposed provisions, clauses and terms presented in the Draft Request for Proposal (RFP). This is a draft solicitation only; no proposals are requested at this time. The purpose of these draft documents is to inform industry about RFIMS requirements and receive feedback in advance of the final Request for Proposal. Interested offerors are encouraged to provide feedback, comment or submit questions regarding all attached draft documents. The Government intends to conduct a Full and Open competition for the RFIMS requirement. FBO.gov will be used to keep industry informed about this requirement. A high-level schedule is provide below, and will be updated if needed. 12/21/16 Draft RFP Issued 1/13/17 Request for comments/questions due 2Q FY 17 Final RFP Issued 4Q FY 17 Contract Award
