- JOFOC The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) has an ongoing requirement for lease of private land mobile radios/antenna sites at specific locations. ATF has determined that it is in the Government's best interest to award these requirements with a base year and up to four (4) option years. The requisition numbers, vendor names, sites, and estimated costs for 1/1/2017-12/31/2021 are identified below. DJA-17-AWCB-PR-0014 - Sunshine Communications Corp (Site Location @ 7600 Stenton Ave.) - $59,091.60 Others to be listed at a later date... The contractors retain ownership of the individual towers where ATF's communications equipment is located. These sites were selected based on a survey conducted to determine what sites could meet the needs of ATF's Private Land Mobile (PLMR) system which provides administrative and tactical radio communication coverage needs. Criterion includes: 1) maximum transmit capability 2) coverage range for clear as well as encrypted transmissions 3) minimal interference on receive frequency 4) radio frequency noise level/interference 5) best level of safety for ATF agents in the field 6) equipment housing facility and height 7) utility support 8) security 9) site access 10) Telco Access 11) cost In support of ATF's PLMR system's infrastructure needs, communication equipment is installed and housed in various locations throughout the Continental US, Hawaii, Puerto Rico, and Alaska. The locations include remote, mountainous, rural, and/or metropolitan sites. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 531190, Lessors of Other Real Estate Property with a size standard of $27.5 million dollars. Any award resulting from this requirement will be issued pursuant to FAR Part 12, Acquisition of Commercial Items. THIS IS NOT A SET-ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS CONCERNS. THIS NOTICE OF INTENT IS NEITHER A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTATIONS. A SOLICITATION DOCUMENT WILL NOT BE ISSUED AND QUOTATIONS WILL NOT BE REQUESTED. If your firm possesses the ability to provide this service, submit technical literature showing your capability of meeting the Government's requirement by the close of this Special Notice.
