- PROJECT NUMBER AND TITLE: EA 00112-6/EA 00113-6/ED 00107-6, Design-Build Safety lines on roofs of various buildings at ASA and Camp Darby area, Darby Military Community (DMC) - Italy; Solicitation # W912PF-17-T-0011 NOTE: It is anticipated that this pre-solicitation notice will be updated during the next few weeks on the Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov) website. DESCRIPTION OF THE PROJECT: This is a Design-Build project; the Scope of Work of this project consists in the installation of systems for safe access and transit on roofs at 11 buildings in compliance with D.P.G.R. Toscana 18 December 2013, n. 75/3. FUNDING: The project is currently funded. LOCATION OF THE WORK: The site of the proposed work is Darby Military Community, ASA and Darby Area, Livorno, Italy. MAGNITUDE OF THE PROJECT: THE MAGNITUDE OF THIS PROJECT IS BETWEEN $100,000.00 AND $ 250,000.00. The SOA is not required for this project. METHOD OF CONTRACTING: This will be a Request for Quotation (RFQ) resulting in a firm fixed price contract. PERFORMANCE PERIOD: The Performance Period will be 135 calendar days for design plus 165 calendar days for construction, for a total of 300 calendar days. SITE VISIT (This paragraph will be modified): The site visit will be held on a date to be determined during the last week of January or the first week of February 2017. MEETING POINT FOR THE SITE VISIT: Gate 4, Darby Area, Darby Military Community, Livorno, Italy. HOW TO PARTICIPATE: In order to participate all interested parties are invited to indicate their interest by submitting an email not later than Close of Business (COB) on December 27, 2016, to elisa.orsini2.ln@mail.mil. Please indicate in your e-mail the solicitation number (W912PF-17-T-0011) and the name of the company, address, phone number, fax number, e-mail address, and name(s) of the person(s) who will be present at the site visit: first name, last name, and a copy of “ Patente “ or “Carta di identita’. Only the persons who have provided the personal data will be allowed to attend the site visit. The Guards will check the identification card at the Gate. The offerors not present on the list will be denied the entrance to the Base. MISCELLANEOUS: It is anticipated that the solicitation package, including the technical specifications, description of the work, drawings and all additional information, will be posted within few weeks on Federal Business Opportunities (www.fbo.gov). Offerors are reminded that in order to be awarded a government contract you MUST have DUNS (Dun & Bradstreet; tel: 02-28-455-379) and NCAGE (www.dlis.dla.mil/Forms/Form_AC135.asp) code and be registered in SAM (https://www.sam.gov/portal/public/SAM/). We will discuss this at the site visit.
