- This is a sources sought notice only for a 2017-2021 Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) to support the U.S. Army Garrisons on/around the Kanto Plain, Japan. Offers or proposals will not be accepted for this notice. This is not a pre-solicitation notice. The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), Alaska District, is conducting research prior to releasing a solicitation for an Indefinite-Delivery, Indefinite-Quantity (IDIQ) Contract to support the U.S. Army Garrison on/around the Kanto Plain, Japan. The resulting contract is anticipated to be valued at $25M (approx 2,947,481,250.00 Yen) and will be a base three year and two (2) one-year option periods. This requirement was previously solicited and awarded by the USAF 374th Contracting Squadron under Contract No. FA5209-11-D-0019. The scope of the contract will be similar to the previous USAF contract it is replacing, and includes providing all work, materials, supplies, parts, transportation, plan supervision, labor, and equipment, except when specified as Government-furnished, needed to repair, maintain or construct real property facilities on/around the Kanto Plain, Japan. Interested firms are requested to provide qualifications as well as insights that USACE should consider to improve both interest in this procurement during sourcing as well as execution after its award. The designated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 236220, Commercial and Institutional Building Construction with a size standard of $36.5M. It is anticipated that the procurement will be evaluated as best value Lowest Price Technically Acceptable (LPTA). This market survey is intended for local sources only. Local sources are those physically located and licensed to conduct business in Japan. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT FOR QUALIFIED PRIME CONTRACTOR FIRMS ONLY.
