- Justification & Approval for Brand Name ****NOTE: This is not a request for quote or solicitation. Please do not submit a quote for this solicitation**** -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- The notice of contract action announcement FA2360-16-A-9005 is corrected to update the title of the purchase from Contract Specialist to Electro Metrics OD Antenna. Additionally, the notification is correct to publish a combined synopsis/solicitation for authorized resellers who are authorized to provide an Electro-Metrics antenna, ultra-wideband, with a frequency range of 20MHz - 40 GHz, and a beam width that is Omni-directional (P/N: EM-6857). The solicitation number is unchanged and remains as FA2360-16-A-9005. This combined solicitation/synopsis is for a firm fixed price request for quote (RFQ) for a brand-name Electro-Metrics antenna, Ultra-wideband, with a frequency range of 20MHz - 40 GHz, and a beam width that is Omni-directional. With the required brand-name antenna, no refurbished parts or equivalent antennas are being solicited. No refurbished parts or equivalent antennas are being solicited, only an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) antenna. The solicitation is a Small Business Set Aside. NAICS code: 334220 and small business size standard is 1,250. FOB Destination Delivery location: DoD National Assessment Group, POC MSG Lugo, Abimael 135 W. Illinois Ave, Southern Pines, NC 28387 The vendor must be capable of procuring and delivery the equipment listed in this notice within 30 days of award of a subsequent purchase order. Award will be made on the basis of the lowest evaluated price of a quote meeting the acceptability standards for the non-cost factor and the following shall be used to evaluate quotes: The acceptability of the non-cost factor will be assessed by the proposed product meeting all of the technical requirements in the attached brand name specifications. The Government will award a purchase order resulting from this synopsis/solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation is considered most advantageous to the Government, price and other factors considered. All quotes are due Wednesday, 14 Dec 2016 by 1500ET.
