- In accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 5.203(a), this announcement is a notice of intent to issue a non-competitive modification to an existing contract for Range Operations and Support Services at Fort Hood, Texas to Katmai Information Technologies LLC, 11001 O'Malley Centre Drive, Suite 204, Anchorage, AK 99515-3096. The period of performance is January 1, 2017 through March 31, 2017 with three, one month option periods (April 1, 2017 through June 30, 2017). A competitive 8(a) follow-on contract for Range Operations and Support Services is in progress. A modification is necessary to preclude a break in service between the expiration of the current contract, W9124J-12-C-0001, and issuance of the competitive 8(a) follow-on contract. The proposed action will be processed under the authority of FAR 6.302-1, Only One Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services will Satisfy Agency Requirements, 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1) and 10 U.S.C. 2304(d)(1)(B). Estimated dollar value of this action is $5,100,000. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations. In accordance with FAR Part 6.302-1, a determination by the Government not to compete this proposed modification is solely within the discretion of the Government. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 561210. The small business size standard is $38.5M.
