- W912ES-17-T-0004 - Pre Solicitation Notice Class Code: 5280, Sets, Kits, and Outfits of Measuring Tools. NAICS: 334513, Instruments and Related Products Manufacturing for Measuring, Displaying, and Controlling Industrial Process Variables. Size standard: 750 employees. Subject: Multi-parameter water quality monitoring sonde. Set Aside Code: Total Small Business. Place of Delivery and Final Acceptance: USACE, St. Paul, MN Description: The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE), St. Paul District has a requirement for one (1) multi-parameter water quality monitoring sonde for use in freshwater environments to include all necessary sensors, field cables, carrying case, and a handheld display required to measure the water quality parameters of Temperature, Chlorophyll a, Blue-green algae, Conductivity, Depth, pH, Turbidity, and Dissolved Oxygen in up to 30 meters of freshwater environments. If a cable or adapter is required to connect a sonde to a PC, it shall be included in this procurement. The sonde must be compatible with the District's existing YSI 6951 Pontoon Vertical Profiling System. If an adapter is required to connect the sonde to the profiling pontoon, it is to be included in this procurement. NAICS/Size Standard: 334513. Size Standard: 750 employees 100% set-aside for small business. This synopsis is not a request for quotes or proposals. This is a notice that a solicitation for a competitive acquisition for the award of one firm-fixed price contract is intended to be issued via FedBizOpps (www.fbo.gov) in the near future. Hard copies will not be available. The specifications and evaluation factors will be detailed in the solicitation. This announcement is for information and planning purposes only and is not to be construed as a commitment by the Government, implied or otherwise, to issue a solicitation or award a contract. Quotes will be due approximately 14 calendar days from the date the solicitation is issued, however, the 14 calendar day time frame is an estimate and subject to change. The definitive quote due date and time will be stated in the solicitation and any associated amendments that may be issued. No CD's or hard copies will be available. Offerors are responsible for checking the referenced page and fbo.gov for any update(s) to the Notice or solicitation. The Government is not responsible for any loss of Internet connectivity or for an offeror's inability to access the document posted at the referenced website.
