- Amendment I: Request for quotation SB1341-17-RQ-0082 is hereby amended to provide answers to questions that have been submitted as follows: Question: Is a standalone solution or a modular solution required for the source? Answer: Separating and combining the laser with control electronics are both an acceptable method. The offered solution is required to contain all components necessary to meet the minimum requirements, including all power supplies and frames, in the case of a modular approach. Question: How many outputs are needed? Answer: A single optical fiber output is required Question: Does the Government also require O/E or E/O converters? Answer: Only the components, as listed in the minimum requirements are necessary. No additional capabilities beyond those as specified are required. Question: Do you require power meters, attenuators or optical heads? Answer: As stated above, only the components listed in the minimum requirements are necessary. The due date/time, December 22, 2016 @ 12 pm ET remains unchanged.
