Description
Description: NSN 3040-01-140-0266 - Connecting Link, purchased in accordance with approved source: Boeing (76301), Nassau Tool Works, Inc. (2M490), and CM Manufacturing, Inc. (6Z056) all for Part Number 74A450913-2003. The required quantity is 500 each (EA). FOB and Inspection/Acceptance points as required per the solicitation. The solicitation will include a 200% option that may be exercised at the time of award, or by 14 days prior to final delivery, at the Government's discretion. This will be a multi-award. Based on market research this item is manufactured for military use only and is not commercial; therefore, the Government is not using the policies contained in FAR Part 12 in its solicitation for this item. However, interested persons may identify to the contracting officer their interest and capability to satisfy the Government's requirement with a commercial item with 15 days of this notice. This solicitation will be available on the Internet at http://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/rfp on or about the issue date of 1/17/2017. Hard copies of this solicitation are not available. Technical data and drawings are source controlled This solicitation is 100% set-aside for small business. The Government reserves the right to make multiple awards and the intent is to make multiple awards if is in the Government's best interest. The government will award to up to 2 offerors for a portion of this requirement. While price may be a significant factor in the evaluation of offers, the final award decision will be based upon factors as described in the solicitation. The required delivery is 590 days. One or more of the items under this acquisition may be subject to an Agreement on Government Procurement approved and implemented in the US by the Trade Agreements Act of 1979. All offers shall be in the English language and in US dollars. All interested suppliers may submit an offer.
