- This is a Request for Quote (RFQ) for the preparation and update of a District History Book for the Lakes and Rivers Louisville (LRL) District.The contractor shall perform extensive research necessary to prepare an update of the history of Lakes and Rivers Louisville (LRL), in a professional and high quality manner. The period to be covered is the beginning of 2005 to 2016. The history shall be composed of a narrative presentation, with appropriate illustrations, of important activities, projects, programs, and events that have occurred since 2005. This shall include civil, military and environmental restoration functions, responsibilities, and accomplishments of the district. In addition, the internal organization and operations of the district will be examined to provide a brief sketch of major district elements and offices, and discussion of significant issues that they have dealt with since 2005. Illustrations will include, but not be limited to, photographs, tables, graphics, maps, etc., considered appropriate to the narrative. All work shall be performed in strict compliance with the attached specifications and all other terms, clauses, and conditions incorporated herein. The contract term shall be 24 months from date of award. NOTE: THIS RFQ IS 100% SET ASIDE FOR SMALL BUSINESS. The NAICS code for this procurement is 323117. The size standard is 1,250 employees.The solicitation will be available on the web only. Telephone and FAX requests for this solicitation will not be honored.
