- Description
- DLA Troop Support intends to issue a Request for Proposal (RFP) for a firm fixed price, one-time procurement for the acquisition of a Modular Protective System (MPS) Physical Screening Kit, National Stock Number (NSN) 5410-01-587-0829. Currently, the only approved sources of supply for this item are Edwards Design & Fabrication Inc. (3DZL6) Part Number MPS-WL-1 and Concurrent Solutions, LLC (058L6) Part Number PSP-T45-1000. The RFP is for a single award. The RFP will be issued as an unrestricted acquisition. Delivery will be FOB ORIGIN. The Government required delivery schedule is 90 Days. FAR Part 15 Contracting by Negotiation procedures will be utilized. Price only will be the source selection approach. Numbered Note 26 applies. This is a non-commercial item. The pertinent technical data and drawings are not in the public domain. This is NOT a Request for Proposal, Request for Quote, or Invitation for Bid. The Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this notice. The estimated release date of the solicitation is January 3, 2017. The date is subject to change. A copy of the solicitation will be available via DLA Internet Bid Board System (DIBBS), https://www.dibbs.bsm.dla.mil/. All responsible sources will be able to submit a proposal which will be considered by DLA Troop Support.
