- Salient characteristics for stryker sternum saws: 1. Battery powered autoclavable sternum saw. 2. Lithium Ion, autoclavable batteries. Can also be sterilized in the Sterrad or V Pro. 3. Lithium Ion battery has indicator light to proactively alert the surgical team when the battery is near the end of its charge. 4. Lithium Ion battery has Active Cell Protection that automatically removes voltage externally when the battery is not on a handpiece or charger. 5. Active Cell Protection also promotes maximum reliability by regulating voltage and alerting users in the event of overexposure in the autoclave. 6. Batteries are recyclable. 7. Batteries store and transfer usage to universal charger to enable SORN remote device management. 8. Removeable, 2 position blade guard. Regular and extra long available.
