- The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases (NIAID) intends to procure Expi293 TM Expression Medium, Quantity: 1000 each, from Life Technologies Corporation, 3175 Staley Road, Grand Island, New York 14072. Expi293 TM Expression Medium is a chemically defined, serum-free, protein-free medium for growth and transfection of suspension-adapted human embryonic kidney (HEK) 293 cells. It is specifically designed as a core component to support high density culture of Expi293F TM cells in the Expi293 TM Expression System for scalable transient protein expression. Any other similar product would result in changes to the existing experiment. Line Item#/Description/Quantity: 1)Expi293 Expression Medium, Catalog# A1435101 Qty of 1000 All responsible sources who feel they can meet these requirements shall submit their capabilities that will be considered. The government reserves the right to make a decision whether this requirement is available for competition. Offers must be submitted no later than 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time (ET), December 27 2016.
