Description

Intent to Sole Source: Torax Medical, Inc. Notice Number: N0025917N0028 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, with: Torax Medical, Inc. 4188 Lexington Avenue N. Shoreview, MN 55126-6106 The objective of the sole source award is to procure a LINX Reflux Management System to include Flexible Ring Implants (LXMC13, LXMC14 & LXMC16) and the LINX System Sizing Tool. Sole Source Justification is based on the following: Torax Medical, Inc. has the only FDA approved Flexible Ring Implant for use in the treatment of GERD. The NAICS code for the requirement is 339112. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on December 19, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Elizabeth Sanders at elizabeth.n.sanders.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Notice Number N0025917N0028". "A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED
