- Combined synopsis/solicitation 1. Under the authority of Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Part 13, Simplified Acquisition Procedures and FAR Part 12, Commercial Items, the National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences (NIEHS) is soliciting quotes to competitively award a firm, fixed price Purchase Order for maintenance and repair services of Becton Dickinson Flow Cytometers. The period of performance for this requirement is January 1, 2017 through December 31, 2017. 2. The proposed acquisition is a total small business set-aside. Quotes received from other than small business concerns will not be considered. The North American industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 811219 and the business size standard is $20.5 million dollars. 3. All responsible sources capable of meeting NIEHS' requirement, as stated within the Request for Quotes (RFQ) may submit a quote, which, if received by the response date of this announcement, shall be considered. 4. Prospective sources are reminded that an award can only be made to a Contractor who is registered in the System for Award Management (SAM) database in accordance with FAR 4.11. 5. Submission of Quotes: Quotes shall be forwarded to Ms. Elizabeth McEwen via email to: mcewenem@niehs.nih.gov and a courtesy copy to Mr. Bernie Salter Jr., Supervisory Contract Specialist (Station Support Branch Chief), bernie.salter@nih.gov by December 21, 2016, 3:00 PM EDT. Facsimile or hard copies of submissions will not be accepted. Responders shall provide a quote using the pricing schedule provided in this solicitation.
