- Amendment 0001--The solicitation closing date is extended, from 14 December 2016 through 21 December 2017. A revised PWS will be posted here NLT 16 December 2017. Offerors are requested to resubmit their revised offer with pricing for CLIN 0001 and (new) CLIN 0002 (option). The Performance Work Statement (PWS) has changed due to information regarding the availability of LTC boards. ************ Western Area Power Administration (WAPA), Desert Southwest Region (DSW) intends to issue a solicitation for Repair Services to one (1) MED KW17B Transformer located at Mead Substation in Clark County, Nevada. The resultant commercial purchase order will be firm fixed price (FFP). Solicitation DE-SOL-0010586 will be issued as a 100% small business set aside. The NAICS code is 811310, Commercial and Industrial Machinery and Equipment Repair. The SBA size standard $7.5 Million. Offerors must possess specialized knowledge and experience, provide past performance information, and h ave current registration in Sam.Gov. Site Visit: An organized site tour is planned for 29 November 2016 at Mead Substation. There will be only one (1) site visit for this project prior to receipt of offers. Individual tours will not be permitted. In accordance with clause DOE-L-2019, Site Visit will be held at 0900 AM, Local Time on 29 November 2016 at Mead Substation. No questions will be answered at the site visit. Attendance at the site visit is not mandatory. The Government will not reimburse any offeror for expenses related to attendance of this site visit. Due to space limitations, only two (2) representatives per company will be allowed at the site visit. To facilitate the government's planning; please provide the name, organizational affiliation, phone number, e-mail address and citizenship of each proposed attendee via email to baierl@wapa.gov not later than NOON on 28 Nov 2016. Note that additional information will be required for non-US citizens. In no event shall failure to inspect the site constitute grounds for a claim after contract award. Hard hats and closed-toed shoes will be required to attend the site visit and will not be furnished by the government. The anticipated solicitation release date will be on or about 14 November 2016. The closing date is planned for 14 December 2016. All documents related to this solicitation will be posted at the website www.fedbizopps.gov. It is the offerors responsibility to monitor this site for the release of solicitation and any amendments. Potential offerors will be responsible for downloading their own copy of this notice, the solicitation documents, and amendments (if any).
