- Intent to Sole Source: Mammography Reporting System, Inc. Notice Number: N0025917N0029 THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. Naval Medical Center San Diego anticipates making a sole source award under statutory authority 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) and FAR 13.106-1(b) (1) (i), only one responsible source, with: Mammography Reporting System, Inc. 19000 33rd Ave W Ste. 130 Lynwood, WA, 98036-4753 The objective of the sole source award is to procure ongoing software support for the government owned Mammography Reporting System (MRS). Sole Source Justification is based on the following: Mammography Reporting System, Inc. has proprietary ownership of the MRS and the software required is a proprietary program. Only Mammography Reporting System, Inc. is authorized to sell, develop, customize or provide training on this program per letter from the company dated 15 Jul 2016. The NAICS code for the requirement is 541511. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotes; however, interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. Information received by 4:00 PM Pacific Time on December 19, 2016 may be considered by the Government. Responses shall be submitted to Elizabeth Sanders at elizabeth.n.sanders.civ@mail.mil. The email subject line shall state, "Notice Number N0025917N0029". "Vendor shall be an Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) authorized dealer, authorized distributor or authorized reseller for the proposed equipment, such that OEM warranty and service are provided and maintained by the OEM. All software licensing, warranty and service associated with the equipment shall be in accordance with the OEM terms and conditions." "A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based on responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. NO TELEPHONE REQUESTS WILL BE HONORED
