- Purchase Description dated 25 October 2016 This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared IAW the format in FAR subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotes are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. THIS SOLICITATION WILL NOT RESULT IN AN ORDER AGAINST A FEDERAL SUPPLY SCHEDULE. ANY OFFER WHICH IS PREDICATED UPON THE AWARD BEING PLACED AGAINST AN FSS WILL NOT BE CONSIDERED. This requirement is set-aside 100% for small business. SMALL BUSINESS SIZE STANDARD (a) NAICS: 511210 (b) Dollars: $38.5 M The purchase of (1 Lot, GNAT Pro Ada cross environment and 1 Lot, GNAT Pro Ada native environment). Manufacturer : AdaCore Technologies Justification for Sole Source : In order to properly configure F-15E OFP development and test workbenches for compatibility with those of the contract partner and prime developer of the Advanced Display Core Processor (ADCP) central computer OFP, the 578th SMXS must obtain identical development software currently used at Boeing Aerospace. Due to the very nature of OFP development and test, OFP software is in a continuous state of flux. During the development phase, the 578th SMXS receives numerous incremental versions of the ADCP OFP from Boeing and must quickly load the compiled code onto the workbenches to enable local developers and testers of PACS-46 and AIU OFPs to integrate their work with the latest changes to the central computer. Currently, Boeing Aerospace uses the AdaCore GNAT Pro Ada compiler in their ADCP OFP development. A letter was received from AdaCore Technologies on 30 August 2016 stating that they are the sole source provider of GNAT Pro and GNAT Pro tools and support. AdaCore is also the sole source provider for any upgrade to the GNAT Pro subscription. Price(s) should be FOB Destination (Robins AFB GA 31098). In addition to price and delivery, quote should include your cage code, DUNS number, and taxpayer ID number. Requested period of performance is 11 Jan 2017 to 10 Jan 2020. Quotations should be emailed to Veronica Henderson (veronica.henderson.1@us.af.mil) no later than 19 Dec 2016, 4:00 pm EST. The anticipated award date is 3 Jan 2017. Please do not request award status prior to this date.
