- Description
- This procurement is being performed under FAR Part 13 and FAR Part 12. The NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center San Diego Contracting Office intends to award an unpriced purchase order for preventative maintenance and emergency repairs of a government owned Zeiss Ultra 55 Electron Microscope on a sole source basis for one base year plus two one-year options. The requirement is to include all labor, travel, and parts. This is being done under the authority of FAR 13.106-1 (b). The applicable NAICS: 811219, business size $20.5 million. It is anticipated that a Request for Quote will be issued on or about December 15, 2016 directly to Carl Zeiss Microscopy, LLC located at 1 Zeiss Drive, Thornwood, NY 10594-1939. This solicitation is issued as unrestricted. Inspection and acceptance will be at destination by the Government. Service location is Fleet Readiness Center Southwest (FRCSW), Naval Air Station North Island, San Diego, CA 92135. Interested persons may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement. All inquires received by the closing date will be reviewed by the government. No telephone requests.
