The period of performance for this requirement is to commence 16 May 2017 for a period of forty-three (43) days. The USNS PATUXENT has a length of 678 FT and Breadth of 98 FT. Work is to be performed at the contractor's facility on or about the above mentioned dates. Area of Consideration is East and/or Gulf Coasts. Major work items associated with this availability include: A. Clean and Gas Free Tanks B. Steel repairs (01 & 02 level) C. Tank Deck Overhead preservation D. Overhaul and Preserve multiple pumps and motors to include: (1) No. 01 & No. 03 Jacket Water pump and motor (2) Emergency Fire pump and motor (3) No. 02 CFW pump and motor (4) No. 01 MSW pump and motor (5) No. 04, 05 & 06 CPP pump and motor (6) No. 01 DFM Cargo pump and motor E. Annual Lifeboat recertification F. Annual Inspection & Overhaul of the Firefighting System G. Vent Duct repair and preservation H. Sliding Block Sprockets & Lower Pillow Block Bearing replacement This requirement will be solicited as a 100% Small Business set-aside. All responsible sources may submit a Bid, Proposal, or Quotation in response to this solicitation which shall be considered by the agency.
