Note: The Request for Proposal-BEP-RFP-17-0502; will now replace the original Solicitation-BEP-RFP-17-0489 for the Hot Foil Die Cutting Press Requirement. The Solicitation -BEP-RFP-17-0502 -Close Date; will be extended to Thursday, December 22, 2016. The Bureau of Engraving and Printing, Eastern Currency Facility in Washington, DC has a requirement to procure one (1) commercially available, sheet-fed, double platen, single pass, hot foil stamping, embossing, and waste stripping combination, Hot Foil Die Cutting Press, hereinafter abbreviated HFDC. The Contractor shall provide training, and services needed to deliver, install, test, and start-up the systems. This solicitation will be is based on ‘Full and Open competition'. The solicitation will be subject to the availability of funds as per FAR clause 52.232-18. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered by the agency. The applicable NAICS code is 333244 -- Printing Machinery and Equipment Manufacturing, with a Base Notice: Hot Foil Die Cutting Press - BEP-RFP-17-0502 - small business size standard of 750 Employees. Interested offerors are encouraged to register in FedBizOpps.gov; for electronic notification of the solicitation, amendments, and/or changes to this notice.
