Description

The VA Greater Los Angeles Healthcare System is seeking a 64 slice or greater mobile CT  unit that runs on a Microsoft-supported operating system. Microsoft ended support for Windows XP, Windows Server 2003, and Windows XP Embedded Service Pack 3 operating systems in April 2014, July 2015, and January 2016 respectively. In order to protect patient safety and minimize cyber security risks, CTs running on these unsupported operating systems will not be accepted. The contract is scheduled to begin on or about March 1, 2017.
