- Question: Is the "10 mile radius" statement within the Sources Sought a hard and fast requirement (i.e. "NSWC IHEODTD desires this capability to be available both on base and off-base, located within the Town of Indian Head or within a 10 mile radius of this location")? Our company as well as many other exceptional companies capable of providing this capability have offices in DC/Arlington/Northern Virginia, but not in IH or within 10 miles of IH. Has there been discussion of expanding the radius? Answer: As stated in the sources sought notice, NSWC IHEODTD desires this capability to be available both on base and off-base, located within the Town of Indian Head or within a 10-mile radius of this location. NSWC IHEODTD desires this capability from all sources regardless as to where contractors are currently located; however, the service must be provided within the 10-mile radius of Indian Head, Maryland.
