Description
USAID/Tunisia is preparing a five-year (3-year Base Period and one 2-year Option Period) Cost Plus Fixed Fee Term, contract to continue to support Business Reform and Competitiveness. The purpose of the Tunisia Business Reform and Competitiveness Project II (BRCP II) is to create jobs in Tunisia through targeted firm-level assistance that increases the competitiveness of the assisted firms, enabling them to expand and hire additional workers. At the same time, in support of the goal of job creation, the project will assist Tunisia with workforce development and job placement as well as improve Tunisia's business enabling environment. The development hypothesis is that increasing private sector demand for skilled labor and a workforce with skills matched to market needs will increase inclusive private sector employment. This, in turn, will enable and enhance inclusive participation in Tunisia's socio-economic transformation. Objective 1: Create jobs by increasing the competitiveness of Tunisian client firms jobs Objective 2: Improve the match between skills demanded by the labor market and the training provided by educational institutions. Objective 3: Improve Tunisia's business enabling environment Objective 4: Communicate the initiatives and impacts of BRCP-2II specifically related to job creation widely with a particular focus on youth (15-35 y.o.). This is NOT an Invitation for Bid (IFB) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) and in no way obligates the US Government to issue an RFP/IFB and/or award a contract. Anticipated Solicitation Release -January/February 2017.
