- Attachment 1 includes Material, Specification, and FAT Information for all four (4) Fire Hose NSNs: 4210-01-165-6597, 4210-01-166-8122, 4210-01-526-2977, and 4210-01-526-3000. This is a Sources Sought Notice only. This is NOT a Request for Proposal or Request for Quote. No Solicitation Number has been assigned at this time. DLA Troop Support is seeking to identify manufacturing sources located in the United States of America that can produce the following: HOSE FIRE, LIGHTWEIGHT LINED ( NSN: 4210-01-165-6597): Type I - Standard synthetic hose, white in color Size - 1-1/2 inch hose with 1-1/2 inch 9 NH couplings Length - 100 feet HOSE FIRE, LIGHTWEIGHT LINED ( NSN: 4210-01-166-8122): Type I - Standard synthetic hose, white in color Size - 1 inch hose with 1-inch 11-1/2 NPSH couplings Length - 100 feet HOSE FIRE, LIGHTWEIGHT LINED ( NSN: 4210-01-526-2977): Type II - Synthetic hose, abrasion and heat resistant, yellow in color Size - 1-1/2 inch hose with 1-1/2 inch 9 NH couplings Length - 100 feet HOSE FIRE, LIGHTWEIGHT LINED ( NSN: 4210-01-526-3000): Type II - Synthetic hose, abrasion and heat resistant, yellow in color Size - 1 inch hose with 1-inch 11-1/2 NPSH couplings Length - 100 feet Additional information regarding specifications and First Article Test (FAT) requirements can be found in Attachment 1. No quantity or dollar value information is available at this time. PLEASE NOTE: HOSES MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE BERRY AMENDMENT ( DFARS 252.225-7012) Preference for Certain Domestic Commodities. Must be able to provide signed certifications upon request. Interested parties should contact Lauren Colabelli ( lauren.colabelli@dla.mil ) prior to December 22, 2016 with confirmation of their ability to manufacture any or all of the four (4) NSNs mentioned in this Sources Sought Notice in compliance with the Berry Amendment and provide monthly production capacity per NSN. This Sources Sought Notice is issued for the purpose of Market Research only and the Government is in no way obligated to purchase any material as a result of this inquiry. The Government will NOT pay for any information submitted by respondents to this Sources Sought Notice. If a solicitation or solicitations would result, it/they would be synopsized on the FedBizOpps website and it would be the offeror's responsibility to monitor the FedBizOpps website for any such notices.
