Description
Non-Disclosure Agreement The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) anticipates issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP), for the procurement of Adaptive Central Receive Systems, on or about January 27, 2017. The Government is requesting proposals from those companies that can provide equipment and services that meet the FBI's requirements regarding video collection, end-to end transport, and broadcast microwave needs, using adaptive radio technology. In an effort to make efficient use of spectrum, the FBI has a requirement to deploy Adaptive Central Receive (ACRx) systems which will utilize the latest radio technologies and techniques to improve frequency utilization. The ACRx is a video collections, transport, and centralized receive system designed to maximize coverage area and support a scalable number of subscribers. ACRx systems shall be installed and deployed in many of the metropolitan areas across the United States and will be shared by the FBI and other Department of Justice (DOJ) law enforcement agencies. All data collected will be backhauled to a local DOJ facility located in the area of responsibility (AOR). An AOR may have more than one metropolitan city which will require ACRx systems support. The FBI anticipates that multiple awards will result from this procurement. Contractors will be responsible for system design, manufacture, pre-installation planning, installation, maintenance, and training. Due to the sensitive nature of this procurement the subsequent solicitation, questions and answers, award results or any other communications will not be posted on FedBizOpps. Interested parties are required to contact the Contract Specialists listed in this notice to request a Non-Disclosure form. No information will be transmitted until a fully executed Non-Disclosure Agreement (NDA) is completed. Upon completion of the NDA interested parties will receive a copy of the solicitation. This notice will be updated to notify interested parties when the solicitation is issued and to provide due dates to request it.
