Description
NAVSUP Fleet Logistics Center Puget Sound is preparing a solicitation for a Firm Fixed Price Service contract to perform a Comprehensive Monitor Flush(CMF) of the lube oil system and Cooler of Number 1A Main Propulsion Diesel Engine (MPDE). The performance of the oil flush will tale place at the Ship Repair Facility - Japan Regional Maintenance Center (SRF-JRMC) Sasebo, Japan. A copy of the current Statement of Work (SOW) is attached to this sources sought notice. All references addressed in the SOW will be made available at time of solicitation. If any of these references are required in order to determine whether or not a potential offeror has the capability of performing the required effort, an electronic copy may be requested from the contract specialist via email at: timothy.trask@navy.mil The prospective period of performance is 01 June 2017 to 14 June 2017. The purpose of this Sources Sought Notice is to determine whether or not the requirement can be fulfilled by any small business concerns. This will be a low price technically acceptable source selection on the basis of technical capability and cost/price. Attachment 1: Statement of Work The following information is requested of all interested small business offerors in order to determine whether enough capable small businesses exist to set the requirement aside for small business concerns:. The type of work your company has performed in the recent past in support of the same or similar requirements. Whether or not your company has managed a task of this nature before. Whether or not your company has managed a team of subcontractors, and if so, how many. The specific technical skills your company possesses which will ensure capability to perform the requirements. An explanation of your companys ability to perform greater than 50 percent of the efforts required. The business size standard of your company for NAICS 332321. Your companys Cage Code Additional approval is required from NAVSEA in the form of the NAVSEA Standard Item 009-90.
