- The purpose of this Market Survey is to seek competent and qualified 8(a) or Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) to perform work necessary for repair of an FAA mobile airport traffic control tower (atct). The mobile tower needs exterior and interior repair work. This announcement is for planning purposes only, no contract of any will result from this posting. The trailer is located in Auburn, WA, so potential vendors MUST be located within the local commuting area, as the trailer will need to be towed to their site for repairs. Estimated cost is less than $100,000.00 Replies are due by December 13, 2016. Please reply with the your 8(a) or SDVOSB certification letter. NOTICE for informational purposes for Minority, Women-owned and Disadvantaged Business Enterprises: The Department of Transportation (DOT), Office of Small and Disadvantaged Business Utilization (OSDBU), has a program to assist small businesses, small businesses owned and controlled by socially and economically disadvantaged individuals, and women-owned concerns to acquire short-term working capital assistance for transportation-related contracts. Loans are available under the DOT Short Term Lending Program (STLP) at prime interest rates to provide accounts receivable financing.
