- The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) awarded a six-month extension against a Firm-Fixed-Price Delivery Order under Blanket Ordering Agreement (BOA) N00019-11-G-0001-2067 to The Boeing Company for Harpoon/SLAM-ER Missile System and Harpoon Command Launch System (CLS) Follow-On Integrated Logistics Support (ILS)/Engineering Services Support and Class I ECP Development Efforts for Foreign Military Sales (FMS) countries and United States Navy (USN). The period of performance is 01 December 2016 through 31 May 2017. This is a sole source requirement. Boeing Company is the sole designer, developer, manufacturer and integrator of the Harpoon weapon system and its related equipment. Boeing alone has the experience, special skills, proprietary technical documentation, software / algorithms, facilities and manufacturing techniques required to produce, assemble and integrate this equipment and furnish the supplies and services. Accordingly, Boeing is the only known qualified, responsible source that can fulfill the requirements specified herein.
