- The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ intends to negotiate on a sole source basis with Scot Forge, 8001 Winn Rd, Spring Grove, IL for the procurement of Item Min Qty. Max Qty Front Section Crosshead Body 2 14 Rear Section Crosshead Body 2 14 Front Section Fixed Sheave Body 2 14 Rear Section Fixed Sheave Body 2 14 Center Section Fixed Sheave and Crosshead Body 8 56 Forged assembly for the Mk-7 Engine Crosshead and Fixed Sheave, the Mk-7 Engine Crosshead and Fixed Sheave are designated as a Critical Safety Items (CSI). Material shall be 4330V steel (no substitutes authorized). The Naval Air Warfare Center Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ (NAWCADLKE) intends to award a sole source Fixed-Price IDIQ contract. The Government intends to procure the above item(s) under the authority of 10 USC 2304 (c) (1), FAR 6.302-1, only one responsible source and no other type of supplies or services will satisfy agency requirements. A determination by the Government not to open the requirement to competition based upon the response to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.
