- This SOURCES SOUGHT NOTICE (SSN) is issued to assist the Agency in performing market research to determine industry interest and capability. No proposals are being requested or accepted with this notice. THIS IS NOT A SOLICITATION FOR PROPOSALS AND NO CONTRACT SHALL BE AWARDED FROM THIS NOTICE. Purpose In accordance with FAR Part 10, SSP is conducting market research to identify businesses capable of providing for engineering and other required services for TRIDENT MK74 Gas Generators. The contract type considered is Cost Plus Fixed Fee-Level of Effort (CPFF-LOE) and Cost Plus Fixed Fee-Completion (CPFF-Completion). SSP is seeking concise capability statements (see Section 9 for package requirements) which identify the vendor's current capabilities to perform/execute the requirements identified below. Description of Requirements SSP requires contractor support for the following: •engineering and other required services for the investigation and resolution of problems associated with fleet usage, production, storage, surveillance, and transportation of the TRIDENT MK74 Gas Generators; •the performance of Strategic Program Alteration (SPALT) 2615 on and the delivery of forty (40) MK74 Gas Generators, part number 5945025-003; and •services relating to MK74 Gas Generator Underwater Launcher Subsystems studies. Period of Performance The Period of Performance is estimated to be 12-15 months.
